To be eligible for our STAR1 Program the skater must be assessed by one of our professional coaches.  Upon their recommendation, the skater may then register for this session. Please email the Club to arrange for an assessment.

Program Description:  Skaters will be introduced to jumps, spins, edges, footwork, dances and skills.  We try to maintain small classes to allow for individual attention.  Sessions are a minimum of twice a week with sessions consisting of on-ice lessons  and off-ice enrichment.  STAR 1 includes flexibility training, stretching, body awareness and conditioning exercises.  Precise muscle area workouts are designed to enhance personal development in figure skating.

Monday sessions are Off Ice from 4:30 - 5:00 pm and On Ice from 5:15 - 6:00pm; Saturday sessions are Off Ice from 9:15 - 9:45 am and On Ice from 10:00 - 10:45 am.

Wednesday sessions are Off Ice from 3:45pm to 4:15pm and On Ice from 4:30 to 5:15pm. Skaters participate in the STAR 2&3/Jr Stroking session on Wednesday. 

 Note: We must have a minimum of 3 skaters for the Off-Ice portion of the class. Skaters may be offered the option of joining another off-ice class.
