Synchro Skating

Synchronized skating, or “synchro” is a specialized discipline of skating involving groups of eight or more skaters performing various group formations and maneuvers. The objective of this class is to prepare skaters for Synchro Skills in the new Star 1-5 program that Skate Canada is currently developing, and help build skills of skaters already participating in Synchro.

Out-of-Club skaters are welcome to join! You must be registered with another Club and have a Skate Canada membership for the current season. 

In order to avoid paying a Skate Canda fee twice, at the end of the registration process, choose "Pay in Person". Then send us an email including your name, club information and Skate Canada number. Use "Synchro Session Registration" as the title. We will send you an invoice so that you can they pay online. 

A Volunteer Bond is not required for Out-of-Club skaters. 

Please note that if our system detects more than 30 minutes of inactivity in your browser, your registration spots will no longer be reserved and you will need to begin again.

Program Description:

Synchro Skills is an introductory program to synchronized skating’s five basic elements: Circle, Line, Block, Intersection, and Wheel. This session will familiarize skaters with elementary holds, elements and transitions, done in a group lesson setting. Skaters will work in small groups of 2-4. Participants can be of any age, with a minimum skating level of STAR 1.

The objective of this class is to prepare skaters for Synchro Skills in the new Star 1-5 program that Skate Canada is currently developing. The long term goal will be to build a team strong enough to compete together.

This registration fee includes ice cost and a group lesson.
